Location: Wigan (Commutable from Manchester, Liverpool, Southport and surrounding area)

About the role:

Our Senior Business Development Manager role spans both AMC Fresh and Natural and AMC Freshly Squeezed. AMC Fresh and Natural is a leading supplier of allergen free soups and yoghurts and AMC Freshly squeezed is a dedicated freshly squeezed fruit juice facility.

The most recent additions to the AMC family, Fresh and Natural and Freshly Squeezed are indicative of AMCs appetite for growth and we are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to grow and develop our key account base and support with identifying new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas and customer trends!

With one of the most innovative products on the market the role truly is a great opportunity to work with a customer base with plenty of expansion opportunities. You will be expected to identify and open new business and will also have to grow opportunities with existing clients through innovation and creativity.

Using market knowledge and research you will create detailed business plans to identify and engage with customers which fit with the company brief. Liaising closely with internal departments you will take proposals to customers and create compelling sales solutions.

About you:

Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit you will be positively creative in coming up with new ideas and demonstrate strong communication skills. The ability to make a great first impression is also a must. Integrity and the ability to be a team player are also key attributes for this role. You should also be comfortable working in a fast paced commercially competitive environment that rewards creativity, persistency and a flair for growing and retaining customers.

You will have previously held a commercial / sales role that involved hunting new business ideally within the Food manufacturing industry, so you will have a track record in the sector and hopefully be able to bring your network with you.
