JRS are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a highly successful electronics business in Ash Vale on a permanent basis.

This role will require an extremely trustworthy individual, dealing with all Purchase Ledger tasks and general accounting functions as necessary.

Our client has a great working environment with a friendly and welcoming team. This role is a great opportunity to become a key member of their business and part of their success story, reporting directly to the Financial Director.

Duties include:

* Matching supplier invoices with Goods Received Notes and processing for payment

* Ensuring all suppliers are paid on time

* Reconciling statements

* Dealing with purchase enquiries

* Paying expenses

* Clearing all utility bills

* Other Purchase Ledger activities

* Assisting the accounts department with general accounting functions

* Any other duties as required by the Financial Director

Required Skills

* Previous Purchase Ledger experience is essential

* Knowledge of accounting systems; to include Sage and BACS, ideally in a manufacturing environment

* Ability to work to deadlines

* Knowledge of other accounting functions

* Good knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, etc

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Willing to work on ad-hoc tasks as required
