A firmly established national organisation who specialises in everything from domestic and commercial relocations, removals, storage and crate hire to highly skilled change and project management services are looking for experienced Project Managers at several locations across the UK, mainly Winsford, Derby and London.

The company has long term contracts with large corporate businesses, public sector bodies and national facilities management companies. As a result, it has dedicated resource centres throughout the UK to enable them to provide specialist moving services to a vase array of organisations in a wide range of industry sectors. As a training project manager it will be your responsibility to deliver projects on time and in budget, by offering the over-arching strategy and planning, this will include managing, and the ongoing justification of the business plan.

In the role you will;

Have experience tracking work to be completed, set deadlines and delegate tasks to the project team and identifying potential risks.
Be ultimately responsible for the completion of the project in line with the plan and often report progress to senior managers.
Be able to establish short and long term program objectives and ensure team members meet them.
Develop funding plans to ensure the programs ongoing delivery and success
Be competent in Microsoft suites including Microsoft Projects or similar software is desirable
Be accountable for full project risk and issue identification and mitigation management
Be able to follow a standard process as defined by the Project Management Institute. These are:

Initiating - checking feasibility and working out budgets teams and resources
Planning - setting goals, defining roles, and producing schedules of tasks. Some tools, such as Gantt Charts can be used to create a visual project plan;
Executing - managing the project
Monitoring and controlling - tracking the projects progress
Closing - evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning for your next project

Qualifications;

Educated to A Level, degree desirable
Studying towards a foundation degree, HND or degree in business or project management will provide practical knowledge about he commercial aspects of the projects is also desirable but not essential.
PRINCE2 Practitioner - which is the commonly used accredited approach for end-to-end project management
CSCS - Hold a relevant construction skills certification scheme card
IOSH Managing Safely - ensures you can assess and control risks and hazards and reflections on good practice.

In return for your hard work you will be remunerated with a competitive salary of GBP20,000 - GBP26,000 per annum and benefits and opportunities for bonus/commission.
