We are currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants/Support Workers to work on a 1:1 support basis in our SEN learning environments and are actively looking for individuals who want to make a difference.
Empowering Learning Ltd are looking for outstanding and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistants who are dedicated and passionate individuals who are looking for long-term role in our fantastic SEN Education settings. Our SEN Schools cater for young adults with varied SEN needs such as Autism, Profound Multiple learning difficulties, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties, Moderate and Severe learning difficulties and Speech and language communication difficulties. The ideal candidate would have experience of working with young male adults and feel comfortable working with individuals with challenging behaviour.

To be considered for the Support Worker position you must have the following:
- Experience supporting young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities.
- Experience/willingness to assist with personal care - feeding, changing moving and handling
- Experience with PEG feeding/tube feeding
- Experience and willingness to support individuals with challenging behaviour
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and students.
- A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
- Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 1-6 months
