LECTURER IN REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING
Salary: Up to GBP34,917 per annum
Hours: 18.5 per week
The College is seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Refrigeration and air conditioning to deliver theory and practical work in our well-resourced Technology Faculty.
If you have a passion for Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and an enthusiasm to share your industrial knowledge and experience with our learners, then we would like to hear from you. Ideally you will have experience of modern working practices within industry and be able to demonstrate an understanding of installation, servicing and maintenance across a range of manufacturers and appliances. Experience of delivering training would be an advantage.
You will be qualified in a relevant Refrigeration disciplines to at least NVQ Level 2, however a level 3 would be an advantage or equivalent industry experience. F- Gas and other refrigerant qualifications are desirable but training may be provided. You will be able to teach on courses for our full-time, part-time and apprentices and will deliver theory and practical subjects in the classroom and workshop environments.
Assessor (TAQA / A1 / V1) and teacher training (such as Award in Education and Training / PTLLS / CTLLS / DTLLS / Cert Ed) qualifications are desirable and training may be provided for the right candidate.
