Monday to Friday, 8am till 6pm with 1h for lunch. 

Excellent opportunity for a ATA/VDA accredited Bodyshop Manager to join one of the South's heritage Toyota and Lexus dealership groups.

The Bodyshop Manager Role:

The role of the Bodyshop Manager will be to organise and supervise the Body Repair operations to ensure maximum profits and customer satisfaction are achieved, with strict adherence to the Dealership Operating Standards and Company policies and procedures. You will be working alongside our After Sales Manager with responsibility of managing 5 productive staff. 

This is an all-round role incorporating all various responsibilities and administration.

Key Tasks:

+ Day to day management of the workshop
+ Assist in co-ordinating all activities within the Body Repair area to ensure maximum profits are achieved, objectives are met and CRS targets are achieved.
+ Meet customer requirements in term of quality and lead times, advising promptly of any delays or concerns.
+ Ensure compliance with all group operating procedures and standards.
+ Ensure business requirements are continually met maintaining a high level of quality.
+ Distribute and communicate information clearly and precisely and regularly communicate information to all team members to improve awareness of performance and expectations.
+ Assess and plan training requirements and develop action plans for all team members.
+ In consultation with the After Sales Manager, administer operating standards and policies as well as establish labour sales figures 
+ Ensure that Bodyshop staff productivity is maintained at 100% with idle time kept to a minimum.
+ To agree costs with insurance engineers.
+ To ensure all outside suppliers’ invoices are passed for payment and charged to customers where applicable.
+ Ensure work areas remain tidy with a strong focus on safe operating practices.
+ In the event of the Estimator’s absence, carry out accurate estimates ensuring a blend of profitable pricing and job retention.

About You:

Applicants should be ATA/VDA accredited for estimating, compliant with PAS125 and have Audatex experience / qualifications. You must have the ability to work under pressure and have a stable career background within a similar role in a Bodyshop / accident repair centre. You will also have proven experience of leading and motivating a team in a similar environment and you also need to have excellent customer care skills. 

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have checkable work history.
