Holiday Allowance 25 days, plus bank holidays.

Pension - The Company will make contributions of 7% of earnings into the scheme. In addition, for every 1% the employee contributes the Company will contribute a further 0.5% up to a maximum Company contribution of 10%.

Private Health Care Scheme once completed 2 years' service.

Hours 40 hours per week, working office hours Monday to Friday.

The job:

* Assisting in managing the raw material supply chain - coordinating supplies with customers and internal personnel.

* Ensuring the efficient running of the Company's collection services.

* Planning efficient operation of the vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicle utilisation is maximised and service levels are maintained.

* Ensuring compliance with company procedures and statutory obligations for vehicle operations, health & safety and other legislation.

* Assisting with the management and development of drivers.

* Maintaining driver records and drivers' hours in line with EU rules regulation (EC) 561/2006.

* Prepare vehicle KPI's in line with requirements.

* Be responsible for the setting up of new customers.

* Maintain relationships with current customers.

* On-call phone cover on alternative weekends.

* Other ad hoc duties as requested by management.

The Person

* Good formal education.

* Strong communication skills, with an ability to balance conflicting demands.

* Good knowledge of transport regulations.

* Previous experience of working within a transport office.

* Ability to work under pressure in an ever-changing environment.

* Good IT skills, including MS Word and Excel.

* Committed, reliable and flexible team player.
