Role:

This varied role will see you working directly with and supporting the HR Manager across a wide variety of HR related tasks. You will play a crucial role in the smooth running of the HR function across the UK. Once you have settled in and are used to the processes and procedures this role will allow you to take full ownership of important HR related projects which will allow you to deliver an exceptional level of services to the business.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Support the annual employee appraisal process

* Support the HR Manager with recruitment when required

* Coordinate monthly HR data and statistics

* Process themonthly payroll

* Support employees and managers with payroll queries

* Produce monthly payroll reports e.g. pension contribution reports

* Support with first stage investigations as part of the Company disciplinary and grievance processes

* Create new starter folders

* Request references for new starters and provide references for ex-employees

* Arrange new starter inductions

* Create new starter contracts and document packs

* File employee paperwork and organise employee filing cabinets

* Ensure probationary reviews are completed and remind managers when these are due

What we are looking for:

* HR or management qualification is desirable, someone that has either started their CIPD qualification or is looking to.

* Excellent interpersonal Skills.

* Good Communication Skills

* Attention to detail.

* Assertive nature as and when required.

* Ability to remain calm under pressure and to work well as part of a team.

* Enthusiastic and someone who is keen to learn.

* Administration experience will be a big plus.
