Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor B4T T2 (Lates)
Location: Holyhead, Anglesey
Rate of Pay: GBP19 per hour PAYE
Shift Patterns: 4pm - 11:45pm Monday to Thursday 2:30pm - 9pm Friday
Contract length: 8 Months
*We are looking for individuals to start As Soon As Possible for this role*
Joining an expert, multi-national organisation with military contracts, we are searching for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor B4T with 3 years industry experience, with a background within supervising in Aviation and a mechanical systems course.
The working contract requires planned detachments and down-bird recovery activities when required, and as such the Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for the overseeing and supervising the operation in a safe and efficient way. The maintenance, rectification and preparation of aircraft in such a manner will also be under the responsibility of the mechanical supervisor, without compromising flight safety or the airworthiness of any aircraft.
main tasks could include but not limited to:
* Carry out first signature responsibilities
* Sign 1st signature for tasked work within trade boundary
* Sign 2nd signature for supervision of work within trade boundary, regardless of 1st signatory's rank
* Carry out all authority level D special F tasks that do not require additional authorization criteria - subject to any limitations imposed by the authorizing authority
* Ensure that the work areas are kept clean and FOD free.
* Maintaining a PEVL to establish continuity of experience.
* Maintain Environmental, Quality, Security and Health & Safety standards as defined by Babcock Policy
* Behave in line with the Being Babcock set of principles.
* Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are always implemented and complied with.
* Maintaining an effective changeover by debriefs or written log to provide a smooth transition and continuation of trade tasks between each shift where and when applicable
Skills & Experiences
* Training in an aircraft related discipline to City and Guilds level 3 or equivalent
* Ability to organise
* Computer Literate
* Accepter and exercise personal responsibility
* Engineering knowledge and application of technical practical skills
* Measuring components
* Gas charge Systems
* Work with overhead gantries
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
