THE ROLE:
My client is a successful manufacturing organisation receiving large volumes of components and materials from their supplier base.
They are looking for a dedicated individual with strong material planning / materials co-ordination, communication and problem solving skills to join their team.
You will work closely with suppliers and colleagues in supply chain and logistics to co-ordinate the supply of materials and components in a fast-paced production environment.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
To apply for this role you should have:
- Experience of materials planning / control in a manufacturing environment.
- Confident ERP / MRP systems skills with good numeracy.
- Excel ability, used to downloading and working with reports and data.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with suppliers and colleagues,
- Able to manage inventory and maintain stock levels.
- Probelm solving skills; can quickly identify and solve stock and supply related problems and contribute towards the continuous improvement of processes and systems.
