Our client a highly successful manufacturing business are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to their small friendly team.
We have great history with this client having placed the entire remaining Finance team with them over the years.

We are looking for a hard working individual to join the Finance team. You will be assisting the Finance Manager and be responsible for Purchase Ledger, Accounts payable and Month end duties. This is an exciting opportunity to help improve processes and to confidently communicate with external Suppliers to ensure all Invoices are processed correctly and efficiently

Key responsibilities and Duties:
⦁Matching, coding and processing Invoices both stock and non-stock
⦁Full Purchase Ledger reconciliations
⦁Work closely with and maintain excellent relationships with external suppliers including resolving queries
⦁Accounts payable - pulling together GBP USD and €uro payment runs
⦁Bank postings and reconciliations
⦁Faulty Stock process
⦁Query handling and GRNI (report checking)
⦁Month end reconciliations and processes
⦁Other ad hoc duties including spreadsheets and inter company reporting

⦁Will need to work to deadlines and under pressure
⦁Bright and bubbly with a can do attitude
⦁Be able to work well as part of a team and on your own
⦁Must have Purchase ledger experience, be reliable, honest and hard working
⦁Must be well organised and have excellent attention to detail
⦁Sage 200 knowledge is a must

⦁Experience of working within a manufacturing environment
