Deal Originator - (OTE c£60K)  

London and the South East  
Base salary circa £30,000 plus Commission (OTE circa £60,000) plus equity participation. 

Our client is a well-established, expanding, London based, Private Equity acquisition and investment business who identify and acquire SME businesses with scope to be taken to the next level.  

They seek an ambitious, enthusiastic and high calibre Deal Originator further to develop this key role.  

As a Deal Originator, you will be responsible for finding investment opportunities and should therefore have the confidence and ability to deal directly and effectively with entrepreneurial company owners and/or their advisors.  

You should be independent-thinking and capable of initiating, processing and managing the business as well as being outgoing, confident, resilient, persistent, patient and determined to succeed. Previous M&A, corporate development and deal initiation experience would be an advantage, but enthusiasm, tenacity and ambition are more important.  

The position would suit a self-motivated, self-starter, meticulous with attention to detail, familiarity across a wide range of businesses, good organisational skills and either with excellent financial/operational analysis skills - or willing to learn! 

Critically however it offers the opportunity both to learn and thereafter play a key/lead role in growing and developing the origination arm of the investment business into an independent business in its own right with a concomitant increase in remuneration.
