Job Title: Finance Administrator (Purchase Ledger)

Location: Rotherham, Yorkshire

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

Established for over 35 years and now one of the North West's leading & multi award winning Engineering companies, the Company is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Finance Administrator, to join their team in Rotherham.

The Role:

To take day to day responsibility for the running of the purchase ledger function within the business from processing of invoices, supplier payments, account reconciliation etc.

  • Entering purchase invoices onto a log and importing into sage approx. 1000 invoices per month.
  • Entering Credit notes onto a log and importing into sage.
  • Supplier Payments via BACS System Monthly. Additionally any ad hoc pro forma payments as required.
  • Forecast of Supplier payment for Month End Payment Run.
  • Liaising with Suppliers, dealing with invoice and payment queries.
  • Reconciliation of Supplier Statements to Sage Accounts.
  • Scanning and filing various documents into relevant folders.
  • Ensure filing is accurate and up to date.
  • Other finance duties as required within a busy small team.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Computer Literate
  • Working knowledge of Sage Accounts software
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages, i. Excel, Word etc.
