Trainee Sales Advisor / Account Manager

Our client is currently looking for an Trainee Sales Executive to join their team. You will be working in a friendly, down to earth team and you will be responsible for building relationships with new customers and day to day account management. This is a business to consumer role that requires some form of customer service, sales or account management experience. The company value long term relationships over cold sales so as a result this is a salaried only role not a commission based.

The Role

This is a busy role where you will be part of a small team. You will be required to build relationships and manage the day to day running of customer accounts. You will need to follow up quotes, up sell and cross sell where necessary as well as dealing with queries. This is role involves warm account management rather than cold sales. You will spend a large part of your day on the phone talking to customers as well as face to face.

The Ideal Candidate

You will need to have previous customer service / sales experience and take a pro-active approach to work. You must be able to work in a busy environment and must be happy to be on the telephone a large part of the day. You will need to be able to work to targets and have good communication skills.
