Maintenance Engineer
Location: Chipping Norton, OX7 5UE
Salary: Depending on Experience
Hours of work: The work requires flexibility in working times. Shifts can start as early as 6am and ending as late as 7.30pm including working one Saturday every 10 weeks.

Our Maintenance team is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure all areas of the hotel, accommodation, health club and cottages are maintained to standard.
Heythrop Park Resort is set in 440 acres of woodland, gardens, historic landmarks and landscaped grounds. The hotel provides over 350 bedrooms, state-of-the-art meeting facilities for up to 450 delegates a marquee for up to 800 delegates, plus 7 bars and up to 4 restaurants. Also located at the Resort is an 18 hole championship standard golf course and a Health Club with spa treatment rooms.
Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
- To display a pro-active approach to environmental and efficiency issues throughout the business.
- Reactive maintenance to include light bulb checks, maintenance tracker
- To ensure the highest quality of product both external and internal - with key emphasis on standards, cost controls and efficient planning.
- To liaise with all departments to ensure that all jobs are done by a required time.
- To carry out the jobs that are requested of you by the Facilities Manager.
- To be fully conversant with all emergency procedures relating to utilities.
- To ensure that all routine maintenance is carried out to the required company standard.
- To be conversant/know who to contact for all systems relating to plant, equipment and utilities.
- Roof checks to remove leaves etc
In order to be the successful Maintenance Engineer Candidates should have the ability to undertake the list of tasks below:
- Basic plumbing
- Painting
- Moving furniture
- Changing light bulbs
- Basic carpentry
- General Maintenance

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Excellent communications skills and fluency in English
- The ability to work on their own and part of a team
- Must be flexible and willing to work on a Rota basis
- We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in different areas and being adaptable.
- Full valid driving licence is required. Heythrop Park Resort is not connected to public transportation therefore candidates need to have their own transport.
