Technician in Building Services

We are committed to giving our students the best experience possible to enable them to work competently and confidently out in the industry.

We are currently seeking a Technician in Building Services to provide a range of technical advice, support and practical assistance to staff and students, and maintain workshops and equipment.

You will have effective communication and customer service skills, enjoy working with young people and have the ability to build good working relationships. You will also be required to undertake a First Aid qualification. You should also have a good standard of education and a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in brickwork, carpentry or plastering with a good general skills level in building services (or equivalent).

This post is based at our centre in Norwich. You will be part of a small team offering great vocational teaching in a specialist learning environment and ensuring our students receive an exceptional student experience. Linking in with the teams at our Halesworth campus, there may be an occasional requirement to travel to these locations for meetings and Continued Professional Development. Applicants must have a Full UK clean driving license to be considered for this role.

Reporting to: Head of Curriculum
Salary: GBP18,000 - GBP22,000 per annum
