Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week, Monday – Friday)

To continue our commitment to our vision, we are now looking for a highly motivated and experienced CDM and H&S Advisor to manage and deliver an effective and efficient CDM and SHE advisory service.

As part of an expanding Corporate H&S team, you will provide comprehensive CDM and Health and Safety support including bringing together pre-construction information, and provide the necessary information to designers and contractors to ensure they can carry out their duties. You will act as the main point of contact for all HSE queries, overseeing the end to end process of implementing the corporate Health & Safety strategy and policy. It will be your responsibility to foster a health & safety culture within the business through the development of SHE legislation and continuous review of current practices. You will ensure that all processes are well documented and audited as well proactively providing staff training.

We’re looking for a self-motivated, analytical individual with excellent communication and strong influencing skills. You must have a construction and/or property maintenance background with strong construction–based health and safety knowledge. You ideally will hold a Level 5/6 construction/H&S related qualification as a minimum and relevant professional membership ideally CMIOSH and/or MCIOB or evidence of working towards this with up to date CPD.

You’ll be passionate about health safety and wellbeing, a strong advocate of best practice and improved performance in all aspects of health and safety, and have a proven track record of being able to challenge and influence management at all levels.

Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is required for this role.
