THE COMPANY:

Brewster Partners are currently supporting a local company based in Sheffield with their Talent Acquisition Manager role.

This is a key role in the recruitment team, experience is crucial.

The salary will be disclosed to interested candidates only, this will not be advertised.

THE JOB:

Reporting to the Group Director of HR, the Talent Acquisition Manager has ownership of the recruitment function across the company and is responsible for the development and execution of innovative talent acquisition strategies and methods to deliver the brightest talent into the business. Responsible for managing all internal and external relationships throughout the talent acquisition process to ensure consistency and best practice while maintaining focus on quality of hire. The Talent Acquisition Manager is the public face of the recruitment activities with a significant social media presence, and a speaking/representation schedule at conferences and university recruitment events.

* Ownership of the Group's talent acquisition function with responsibility to continuously research, develop and implement new and innovative ways to attract talent in line with the company's medium and long-term strategic plans
* Line Management, coaching, support and mentorship of the team of 3 Recruitment Coordinators responsible for the day-to-day recruitment processes and administration.
* Consult with and support the Executive team / Studio and Senior management with succession planning and forecasting of staff
* Responsibility for Executive and Senior hires within the Group utilising proactive sourcing and selection of passive candidates
* Responsibility to for the continuous development and evaluation of recruitment processes to ensure a timely, efficient service that is fit for purpose with a positive candidate and hiring manager experience
* Responsibility for applicant tracking system: Ongoing configuration and development of system functionality for improved internal and external processes and reporting
* Employer brand development and recruitment marketing: working closely with the Marketing department to develop and communicate recruitment message. Increase global profile and promotion as an employer of choice via social media, advertising campaigns, Glassdoor, events and university activities
* Talent development and university liaison: Promote sponsorship of student competitions and lead university liaison. Partake in wider education liaison, exploring opportunities to collaborate locally and across the games industry to promote careers in games and the creative digital industries
* Attending various national and international recruitment events and conferences; networking at industry events, often with speaking and presentation opportunities
* Advising on international hires requiring relocation and liaising with immigration solicitors on complex visa and immigration matters
* Keeping up to date with changing legislation that will affect recruitment; researching and advising on proposed changes to accommodate the recruitment process and approach
* Regular analysis and reporting of various recruitment and retention data to drive and evaluate recruitment activities
* Production and analysis of weekly, monthly and annual recruitment reports to support headcount forecasting and report against budget
* Agency relationship and PSL management: Building, monitoring and evaluating agency relationships; negotiation of terms
* Working with the Recruitment Coordinators and Hiring Managers to ensure all candidates have a positive experience at all stages of the recruitment process, despite time pressures
* Development of onboarding resources for new hires and often offering direct assistance in candidate relocations
* Involvement in ad-hoc HR/recruitment projects

THE PERSON:

* Experience owning and developing an in-house recruitment function within a highly skilled, technical or creative industry
* Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
* A history of successful direct sourcing and headhunting campaigns for Senior and other difficult to fill roles
* Hiring from overseas: Experience dealing with complex immigration and visa issues and international relocations
* Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop and implement new processes
* Ability to solve problems creatively
* Good copywriting skills and an enthusiasm for engaging on social media
* Confident presentation skills
* Ability to communicate confidently, build relationships, influence and challenge when necessary
* Ability to operate with diplomacy, tenacity and patience when dealing with multiple stakeholders
* High levels of energy and enthusiasm with a 'can do' attitude
* Educated to degree level
