Title: Area Sales Manager
Salary: Basic between GBP30k to GBP40k plus Bonus

We have 440 colleagues working across 18 locations from Inverness right down to Newton Abbot in Cornwall. We hire bridging and non-mechanical construction equipment and services, meaning we get to work on some of the most important engineering, construction, manufacturing and infrastructure projects in the country.
We have colleagues from all kinds of disciplines working here: from engineers to customer services; yard operatives to HGV drivers - and, of course, the vast array of support functions you'd expect from a business that's here to meet the demands of the construction industry.
We are looking to drive our growth with a commercially aware, customer focused and goal driven Customer Sales Manager, working from our Wellingborough depot, to maintain and develop a portfolio of customers within the region. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate ways in which they have helped to create great memories for customers.
About the role:
The role of Customer Sales Manager involves proactive account management of existing and new customers; managing the full process from initial enquiry to confirmed order. Identifying additional business opportunities is another key requirement, which involves liaising with key stakeholders internally and externally.
Duties for the role include:
Managing and developing an existing customer portfolio
Identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the market
Proactively managing enquiry pipeline in order to improve conversion rates
Identifying previously trading accounts in order to cultivate new opportunities
Locating and managing key projects within your defined territory
Regularly updating and completion of CRM system
Interacting with Key Account/ Business Development Managers on all National Accounts
Gathering all technical information required in order to complete design briefs to submit to Engineering
Ensuring sales targets and KPI's are met through selling across the full portfolio
