PROJECT WORKER
Job type - Permanent
Salary - GBP20,812 per annum + Benefits
Hours - 35 hours per week (+ 5 hour paid lunch) On a rolling rota working between 8am and 11pm including weekends
Location - Lincoln
We are a national social justice charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives, building stronger communities and reducing crime. Last year alone we helped support, house, educate, advise and speak out for 38,000 disadvantaged young people and adults - and you could now help us make an even bigger impact going forward.
Our service's in Lincoln support vulnerable young people are homeless or are threatened with homelessness. The service is staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Who we are looking for?
We are currently recruiting hardworking, reliable and self motivated individuals with a strong desire to deliver outcomes and make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people in an exciting but challenging environment. You will need excellent interpersonal skills mixed with a good understanding of issues vulnerable people face. The role will involve planning and delivering support that has a direct impact on the lives of each person. Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Offering advice, guidance and practical support to vulnerable adults to help them work towards their goals in life.
- Offering advice with regards to having their own accommodation, training, education, employment.
- Responding to individuals needs and offering holistic support.
The purpose of these services are to transform the lives of Lincolnshire's most vulnerable adults and our vision is to ensure every person in our services are given the support they need to have a chance at a brighter future.
A DBS check will be required for this role.
A full driving licence and own vehicle is essential.
