Accounts Assistant, Chelmsford - 20-22k! Great Company with career progression

I am recruiting for a great permanent role local to Huntress here in Chelmsford. This is a varied Accounts Assistant role in which the successful candidate will be supporting the Group Financial Accountant with the preparation and processing of financial information.

Daily and monthly duties will involve:

* Preparation of the cash-flow reports
* Credit Check reporting
* Reconciliations
* Month end close journals
* Updating and maintaining the Fixed Asset register
* Reporting for parent company and statistical (on a quarterly basis)

Annual duties involve:

* Assisting with the year-end audit
* Provide analysis for the Corporation Tax computations
* Manage the expense system
* Support the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams when required

You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative. Experience working in an Accounts role with examples of working to tight deadlines whilst maintaining great attention to detail.
Excellent Excel skills are required and knowledge of the Microsoft Great Plains accounting software is advantageous.

Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
20k-22k
