We are working with our Cheltenham based client to recruit a 2nd Line Support Analyst for this growing organisation. The role in 2nd line support will involve occasional visits to other site locations but is based in Cheltenham. Working in a Help Desk Team you will be pivotal to the IT team. You will receive a mobile phone and laptop.
Your role will be to provide 2nd line support to internal customers across multiple sites, assisting with company software and hardware issues and requests. This is a busy and challenging role where you will need strong problem solving and communication skills There will be occasions when you will work outside your contracted hours and overtime will be paid.
Duties as a 2nd line IT Help Desk Analyst will include:
* Highlight when external technical support is required where problems cannot be resolved in-house.
* Communicate with 3rd party suppliers to expedite resolution, provide specific 1st/2nd line support for ERP platform - Dynamics AX, participate in problem management processes and investigations.
* Occasional travel to other locations with your base in Cheltenham
* Strong delivery of solutions and customer service to agreed service levels
* Trouble shooting, fault resolution and management
* Able to deal with complex and difficult queries
