Join a fast-growing Community Interest Company in an exciting role providing an opportunity to make a significant difference across Surrey.

Supporting this next stage of our development this hands-on role will raise the profile of Surrey Hills Enterprises, part of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty family, and grow and support our business members. Delivering a highly effective marketing platform, the role will work across a board mix of marketing and communications including event management, social media, websites, e-newsletters and literature.

As a key member of the team you will be highly motivated with strong communication and organisation skills and a tenacity to get things done. Experience in event management and using word press, e-newsletters and a range of social media platforms and an ability to build excellent rapport is essential.

Offering flexible working hours and based in a converted barn in a beautiful location near Guildford you will be joining a committed and professional team with customer care and high-quality services at its core.

Responsibilities

Events

  • Organise the annual programme of events, Member workshops and conferences ensuring the event planning, safety and promotional materials and event branding are delivered to a high standard and within the agreed budget.

Marketing

Promote Surrey Hills Enterprises and its Members and help to recruit new Members through a variety of marketing tactics including:

  • Digital - manage and up-date the website content ensuring it is inspiring, engaging and promotes Surrey Hills Members to the wider public and ensure marketing tactics drive traffic to the website;
  • Social media – maintain active communications and promotion using Facebook, Instagram and Twitter ensuring increasing reach and connection to Members and the wider public;
  • Communications materials – produce inspiring and relevant multi-media communications to promote the work of Surrey Hills Enterprises and its Members and the Surrey Hills brand including monthly e-newsletters, press releases, annual review and maintaining a library of photographs

Networking

Maintain excellent relationships with Surrey Hills Members, the Surrey Hills Family and be an effective ambassador for Surrey Hills Enterprises.

Policies & Data

Ensure all the marketing and communications are compliant with relevant data protection and security standards and present accurate and up-to date information to the Executive Director and Board.
