Can you help us to improve responses to domestic abuse within our communities?

CWA is piloting the Ask Me Project.

We are recruiting a part time Project Coordinator to support the delivery of the scheme within Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. They will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting community members to join us in improving local peoples understanding and response to domestic abuse.

Full training will be given. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has an excellent understanding of how to develop the collective power of communities, as well as insight to the needs of survivors and the challenges they face in accessing support.

This post is fixed term for a minimum of one year. It is mainly based in Cambridge city with some travel throughout Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Salary is paid at NJC pay scale point 28 which will equate to £20,646 p.a. plus 5% pension contribution for a 30 hour week. Some weekend and evening work will make up part of the normal working week.
