Currently, we are looking for flexible, qualified social workers, who take real pride in their work, relish the prospect of a challenge, and are driven by a genuine desire to safeguard and help vulnerable children.

You will have a proven track record of working within a statutory Children's Services setting, and knowledge of current practice and legislation. Demonstrating a flexible approach to short term, outcome focused work, you will show adaptability towards working in generic safeguarding teams, as well as specialist teams.

This is a great opportunity if you have had a break in service and wish to return to social work on flexible basis to suit your individual circumstances. It also presents the chance to gain further experience in a statutory setting in order to maintain Continuing Professional Development and meet registration requirements.

You will undertake assessments, provide social worker cover when needed, manage cases, lead on specific projects and ultimately be responsive and proactive to the needs of children and their families.
