External Sales Engineer - Great Development Opportunity  
Home/Field Based (with travel throughout the UK to visit customers)

Established in 1992, Eurovalve supplies an extensive range of high-quality valves and actuators to industry. Our staff have 125 years’ experience and are committed to providing a prompt, personal service.  

We are now looking for an External Sales Engineer to join our friendly team and increase sales of our products throughout the UK.

The Role  

As an External Sales Engineer, you will sell our range of valves and actuators to customers throughout the UK.  

Working with a customer base of primarily end users, original equipment manufacturers and contractors, you will:  

- Deal with technical enquiries, follow up on quotations and achieve firm orders  
- Follow up on leads (we receive new enquiries from potential customers every day)  
- Develop positive relationships with customers  
- Ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved  
- Spend three – four days a week visiting customers, including on project sites  

About You  

To join us as an External Sales Engineer, you will need:  

- Previous experience in an engineering environment, ideally fluid engineering  
- Experience of communicating with customers via the telephone  
- At a minimum an HND qualification in engineering or equivalent  
- To be highly self-motivated  
- A track record of communicating with customers face-to-face   

Due to the travel requirements of this role, the successful candidate must live between Nottingham and Leeds, or be willing to relocate.  

Previous sales experience would be highly beneficial to your application, as would knowledge of valves and actuators.
