A fantastic opportunity to join a leading, global, manufacturing company based in Salisbury.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to come in and take charge of the Quality process, implementing LEAN principals, identifying areas for improvement and conduct RCA's.

Some other duties include:

- Ensure that production quality is defined and maintained

- Ensure a robust quality control process is implemented and continually monitored

- Resource management - ensure you have the required skills and experience in the team

- Review all products as part of the design process for potential quality issues including DFM and DFA

- Ensure that OEM and internal production lines are set up and under process control

- Responsible for DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, process flow charts etc

- Ensure progress of NPI projects and risk are escalated through the gating process

- Manage reoccurring audits of production lines (internal & external) to maintain compliance and identify opportunities for development

- Set up and manage an MRB programme to monitor, analyse and correct production rejects

- Analyse customer feedback and monitor return rates

- Maintain oversight of injury, damage and H&S case management

- Create and implement QC structure capable of controlling quality of inbound goods

- Identify areas for improvement within the department

Skills required:

- Strong personality with the ability to lead and influence

- Significant auditing and supplier management experience

- Significant quality management experience

- Significant manufacturing experience

- Ability to utilise common quality tool and techniques such as: RCCA/8D, PPAP, Statistical Process Control, Measurement System Analysis (MSA)

- Exceptional organisational skills

Experience required:

- Must have supplier quality experience in a demanding fast paced environment

- Experience in troubleshooting /problem solving of manufacturing and assembly processes

- Experience in facilitating Advanced Product Quality Planning methods with demonstrable use of quality assurance tools & techniques

- A strong knowledge of statistical tools

- Experience with various manufacturing processes/commodities such as electro-mechanical assemblies, plastic injection moulding, metal processing & finishing, electronic manufacturing & assembly and contract manufacturing

- Ability to conduct process audits in accordance with international standards

- Experience in supplier management and leading NPD/I activities
