EllisKnight is working closely with a fast-growing online fashion group based in Bath to recruit an Accounts Manager.
Working closely with the CEO, you will have a key role to play in helping to define the strategy, growth and for ensuring the company continues to hits their financial targets over the coming years.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and forecast processes.
* Ensuring the month-end account management process is efficient.
* Producing the profit and loss and balance sheet.
* Budgeting and forecasting.
* Balance sheet reconciliations providing back office services such as accounts payable, collection and payroll.
* Monitoring cash flow.
* Cost analysis with Operations Manager ensuring all costs are accounted for
* Providing insights on the financial health of the organisation.
* Ensuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues.
* Keeping track of market trends.
* Looking for cost-reduction opportunities.
* Reviewing financing opportunities.
* Developing relationships with external contacts such as auditors, solicitors and HM Revenue & Customs.
* Supervising staff.
Background and Skills
* Qualified CIMA or QBE accounts professional with in-depth experience.
* MS Excel skills and experience with Sage.
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* You are self-motivated and able to work alone.
* Prior experience in online retail business is preferable.
* Global Importing & exporting knowledge.
Details
* Normal working hours 8.30 to 5.30.
* Based at Bath HQ.
* Salary dependent on experience.
* 21 days holiday plus bank holidays and birthday (increasing each year).
* Private health care.
* Includes pension.
* Start date ASAP.
