Plymouth University Grade 4 (£22,017 - £24,771)

Full Time, 37 hours per week

Fixed term until 31st December 2021

Location: Exeter College, Hele Road Exeter EX4 4JS

A proactive and enthusiastic individual is required to join the South West National Collaborative Outreach Programme (SWNCOP) team, delivering Higher Education outreach activities to secondary school and college students from ages 13 to 18 years.

SWNCOP, also known as ‘Next Steps’ is a collaborative project comprising universities and FE/HE colleges in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. This project is funded by the Office for Students (OfS) to encourage awareness of, and access to, Higher Education for young people from target groups in schools and colleges where progression to Higher Education is currently lower than average.

The post holder will liaise with colleagues across the SWNCOP and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This post is based in the Higher Education Department at Exeter College and will primarily work with students there, as well as in the College’s central Exeter feeder schools.

In addition, the post-holder will receive guidance and meet reporting requirements from the central SWNCOP team based at Plymouth University, to ensure that the project achieves its overall objectives.

The post is fixed–term until 31st December 2021.
