We have some exciting opportunities available for Line Leaders to join us, taking responsibility for the supervision and operation of the converting line equipment (upstream and downstream).

Leading the team within a designated line area, you will motivate and manage operations whilst maximising production times. Reviewing the work schedule, completing equipment checks and ensuring line supplies are in place, you will make any equipment adjustments and inspections, complete hourly quality control checks, maintain housekeeping and ensure all production documentation is completed accurately. In addition, you will operate converting equipment when necessary.

Self-motivated, adaptable and with a strong knowledge of production processes and quality requirements, we are looking for someone with experience in a similar role and a line management background. Able to operate Wrappers / Logsaw / Rewinders / Reel changes, you will have 1 years’ relevant job experience in FMCG and past experience of working in a manufacturing environment.

Established in 1993, our client is one of Europe’s largest independent soft tissue converters with manufacturing capacity in excess of over 100,000 tonnes per annum.

They manufacture a wide range of household paper products from their purpose-built production facility in Lancashire. Paper products including Toilet Rolls, Kitchen Towels and Facial Tissues are manufactured to the highest levels of quality in brands and private labels utilising the latest technological advancements.

The shift pattern is an 8 week rotating pattern of 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off covering Monday to Sunday - which equates to 4 weeks x 48 hours per week and 4 shifts per week, on average 40.25 hours per week.
