  • We are looking for dedicated Deal Value Architect, with Financial Services sector experience who will help design and manager our clients' deals and deliver the success they expect.

    About the teamOur Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team, within Consulting, assists both Corporate and Private Equity (PE) clients in a wide range of business critical operational and transformational challenges, driven by Merger and Acquisition (M&A) activity. We advise our clients on deals with values ranging from GBP50 million to over GBP5 billion.

    DDV is now a core team of over 120 specialists across a number of key industry sectors. DDV focuses on providing support for potential/actual transactions and assists clients in all operational aspects of the transaction, pre and post completion, including:

  • Buy and sell side operational due diligence

  • Synergy development and review

  • Carve out and divestment support

  • Taking control and 100 day planning

  • Mergers & Acquisitions Integration

  • Post-acquisition performance improvement

  • About the roleOur Deal Value Architects have designed and overseen hundreds of successful deals, from developing the right strategy to ensuring that the deal is executed seamlessly. They support companies to implement changes that will deliver synergies and improvements long after the deal is signed.

  • Client Delivery: building productive and lasting client relationships at all levels. Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team

  • Business Development: proactively lead the practice by setting strategy, drive the development of new business in the market, and provide technical advice across disciplines including business strategy, market growth strategy and route to market strategy

  • Thought Leadership: You'll create innovative insights for clients looking to transform, integrate or carve out their finance function and viewed by clients as an expert who they turn to for help and advice on their most difficult issues.

  • Practice Development: You'll will be responsible for the ongoing development of services for companies finance functions including new offerings, as well as recruitment, on boarding, and ongoing mentoring and coaching of our people.


  • The ideal candidate would be interested in either progressing their career to the next level with an aim of becoming a candidate for partnership or a subject matter expert happy to remain in the delivering deals value (DDV) space.


    Essential skills & experienceYou should have experience of some of the following:

  • A Professional services track record, either as a consultant / advisor or as an internal consultant / advisor within a corporate with experience of a finance function

  • Finance transformation, integration and carve out experience

  • Experienced in leading cross-functional teams to articulate and value creation opportunities in a deal, (either in merger integration, carve-out or from business transformation) to structure the project execution plan

  • Deep operational deals experience

  • Experience of managing operational performance and delivering change, sourcing and supplier management

  • Strategic thinker with an ability to also implement initiatives identified

  • A substantive business development track record

  • Comfort around high level financial analysis and understanding of the key operational drivers

  • An ability to 'read' a business/process

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with ability and flexibility to operate successfully at all levels
