The role of Year 3 primary teacher is set to commence as soon as possible and the school are happy to facilitate working you out of a notice if you are the right teacher. At present therefore, there is some flexibility as to when you would start but the school are seeking to appoint fairly soon. This is a role which would be better suited to a teacher with more experience however, if you are an NQT with something special about you, the school would be happy to interview you.

This is a very friendly school where academic excellence and a calm, focused atmosphere go hand in hand. A solid history of good Ofsted performance has allowed the SMT to develop a base of teaching staff who have been committed to the school and its development over several years. The cohort are well organised and take a full role in the life of the school and their standards of behaviour were noted as an outstanding feature of the last Ofsted inspection. The school are going through some final changes and therefore want a teacher that will provide stability and hard work to support all parties within the school.

  • Relevant KS2 teaching experience minimum (Year 3 is ideal but not essential)
  • High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
  • The ability to work effectively in a team of teachers, support staff and outside agencies
  • Experience within SEN would be beneficial but not essential
  • Live or be able to commute to Leeds (LS10)
