Assessing our performance has never been so important

We need to know how well our Counter Terrorism Policing Network is performing - and how it can be improved. We're therefore looking for a dedicated Performance Analyst in our Strategy, Planning & Performance Team (SPP) to assess this critical work. It's a chance to support a world-class Counter Terrorism (CT) function that's keeping the country safe, as part of a national team that deals with new challenges every day.

Based in the National Counter Terrorism Policing Head Quarters (NCTPHQ), you'll help to evaluate our CT efforts against strategic objectives. You'll be analysing how well the CT network is delivering its services, spotting trends, creating forecasts and supporting our Higher Performance Analysts. Your reports will help senior figures within the police and government to make decisions that will shape our CT network, so it's better prepared to protect the UK and millions of people.

With proven analytical skills, you can examine data and produce insightful reports. You'll draw on high level IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to interpret a wide range of information. A gift for communication means you can give good presentations and make the complex easy to understand. It will also prove essential as you build strategic relationships with varied contacts across policing and government.

To apply, please click on "visit website" to download a role specific information pack. Applications will be via an online application form.

Completed applications must be returned by 23.55pm, 14 th February 2019.

We view diversity as fundamental to our success. To tackle today's complex policing challenges, we need a workforce made up from all of London's communities. Applications from across the community are therefore essential.
