Question.
You have a sales lead - A high flyer that works in the city. Lives on a private estate in surrey. The type of property that we can only dream of living in. He's looking for an integrated security system with home automation to ease his pain and suffering when getting home from work.
We're talking 16 camera CCTV system, Paxton access control connected to automatic gates. A wireless Premier Elite 64 zone Texecom intruder system. All tied up with a brand-new Control 4 home automation system to turn off the lights, close the blinds, switch on his home cinema system and bring down his hidden 120" cinema screen.
Not the easiest system to design, cost up, write the specification, put a drawing together, ensure all the paperwork is completed, H&S checks, RAM's - not easy but really exciting and challenging right.

We are looking to recruit a technically experienced security sales professional with a good track record of selling electronic security systems to B2B and B2C clients - SME's and retail etc, and has a good understanding of NSI & SSAIB.
The person we are looking for is a self-generator, team spirited, dynamic, confident and isn't afraid of a challenge but most importantly, has the potential to transform my clients business. Someone who can demonstrate their sales success and can bring with them some good industry contacts.
My client is a rapidly growing integrated security systems company with serious ambition and plans for growth. But they need your help. As it stands, their client base is 90% high net-worth residential clients (British Royalty, Hampton Court Palace, Wentworth Estate, Sports Personalities) with a lowly 10% of commercial clients.
What they would like to do - actually what they would like you to do is bring those commercial percentage rates up.
They want you to bring in the office block in the city that our high flyer works at, or the football stadium of the team he supports, or the brand-new state of the art training centre that his team train at. The exclusive clothing shops he gets his clothes from - you get the idea.
Ultimately, they are looking for you to bring in the high net-worth commercial clients. Clients that would look good sat side by side with their enviable residential list.
Obviously, they are not expecting you to do this as soon as you walk through the door. But they are looking at a big push in the commercial arena. Just nothing too big to begin with. System sales with maintenance bolt on to SME's, retail, local authorities, office buildings will be good to start with - after that away you go.
