Responsibilities This position will assist the business with potentially contentious matters, pre-litigation advice, contentious restructurings and distressed situations, litigation and arbitration and contentious regulatory matters and investigations. * Advising on litigation and disputes * Instructing outside Counsel including managing the dispute resolution process, reviewing draft documents and discussing strategy. * Dealing with regulatory enquiries in conjunction with the compliance department. * Advising the business on handling client complaints and disputes which may arise pre-litigation. * Assisting with queries from the business on transactions * Updating reports and internal databases as necessary regarding current disputes. Skills & Experience * 2-4 years PQE from a law firm or in-house with banking litigation, insolvency and contentious regulatory experience * Experience of running cases with limited supervision is preferred. * Fluency in other European languages would be an advantage.
