The Role

We are looking for an ambitious Commis Chef who can fit in well with a small, close nit kitchen team of 4.
Working with a strong, classically trained and experienced Head Chef, you will be working on starters and deserts.

We are looking for someone who is eager to progress and step up towards a Chef de Partie role in the next few months!

For the right candidate, this company will actively support your career development and can assist with apprenticeships and training and development courses moving forward.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal Commis Chef will have some experience working with good quality, fresh food and will be eager to learn and progress within a company where career development is encouraged and the opportunity to climb the ladder and progress in your career.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commis Chef who wants to learn and develop their skills, working at a stunning venue in a great environment with an amazing team!

Start / Finish Times

45 hours per week, working from 10:00am - 3:00pm then 5:30pm till 9:30pm.
There is also the option and flexibility to do straight shifts if desired.

The current owner has already improved various aspects of the business, offering a more interesting menu with Chef and seeing a drastic increase in volume.
There are plans to offer more and more fine dining options and push towards accolades moving forward.
2019 is an exciting year ahead for the business and they are looking to achieve 4 / 5-Stars and 1AA / 2AA Rosettes!

Typically, this business is busy all year round, if not somewhat busier in the winter. They experience many return custom along with a large number of passing visitors.

The ideal candidate should drive and have their own transport as the location is somewhat rural, and the nearest bus stop is approx 15-20 minute walk away from the property.
