Mortgage Advisor- Salary of GBP28,000- GBP30,000 DOE - Wimborne

Mortgage Advisor required to join our client, a prestigous company based in Wimborne. Ce-Map qualification is essential.

Duties:

• Manage the team such that priorities are effectively fulfilled, sales opportunities are maximized and exceptional service is provided to customers
• Responsible for completing required supervisory checks on the advisor team to ensure continued compliance with regulatory requirements, all T&C measures and that exceptional service is being delivered
• Monitor and report on team performance with regards to sales targets, lead management, retention, service levels etc. and take necessary actions to remedy any issues or shortfalls
• Undertake mortgage advisor duties including:Receiving incoming calls to deal with all leads, internet communications from the general public or existing customers enquiring about mortgages and other business opportunities
• Making outbound calls to follow up leads received via the internet, from the general public or existing customers with a view to securing or retaining mortgage and other peripheral business
• Making outbound calls to customers at the end of their initial deal period or redeeming borrowers with a view to growing retaining business
• Advising customers and providing explanations as necessary and required under the Mortgage Conduct of Business and Insurance Conduct of Business Rules
• Control of file paperwork ensuring all required paperwork is scanned as detailed in the Suitable Advice GuidelinesProviding clients with illustrations on Legal & General Building & Contents insurance, completing all necessary paperwork prior to dispatch and following up with client to check understanding
• Providing clients with illustrations on Legal & General Building & Contents insurance, completing all necessary paperwork prior to dispatch and following up with client to check understanding
• Quality Measure - achieve 90% Pass on file checks completed
• Remedial actions following case checks to be completed in line with T&C timescales
• Keep up to date with all protection, mortgage and mortgage related products and any related financial issues, as well as with competitor products so that honest and fair comparisons can be made when requested.

Experience Required:

• Ce-Map qualification
• Either have or be prepared to work towards CerGI qualification
• Comprehensive understanding of mortgage advice regulations
• Mortgage Sales/Advice experience within the Financial Services Sector in a management/team lead capacity
• Background knowledge of mortgage and insurance related products
• Ability to remain to remain calm when faced with challenging or demanding situations
• Good presentation skills
