The Client is looking for a Permanent Cad Design Operator due to an increase in workload in the business- Southampton
They will be looking to bring someone on board on a permanent basis. The candidate must have experience on Auto Cad, 2D Skills, they must have an understanding of the drawings and ideally have a joinery or metal background. They will also develop prototypes. The candidate must know the machines and have an understanding of the manufacturing side of things.
The Client is looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year experience, who can hit the ground running. Additional duties will entail:
*Use of 3D CAD ideally AutoCAD Inventor
*Background in metal and wood machining / forming / finishing process in a shop fitting / furniture environment
*History in both conversion of concepts to detail design and ideally creation of innovative fixture
*Knowledge of programming software - eg Alphacam/Trutops preferable
*New product introduction
*Value Engineering
Salary will range from GBP30,000-GBP33,000.
The client is looking to conduct interviews next week with a view to bring someone into the business ASAP.
