We’re now looking for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join us and support the successful delivery of our home care service.

The Role 

As the Senior Healthcare Assistant, you’ll supervise, support and train a team of Home Care Assistants and assist in the successful running of our home care service in Plymouth. 

Your duties will involve: 

- Ensuring Home Care Assistants are able to perform tasks to the highest 
- Assigning care workers to service users 
- Providing home care assessments for new service users 
- Creating and reviewing care plans and risk assessments 
- Helping to review care packages 

About You 

To join us as a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you’ll need: 

- Experience of working in a care environment 
- Previous experience of supporting people who may display challenging behaviour and physical disabilities 
- Experience of using EHM and/or ECM systems 
- An understanding of equal opportunities 
- A Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification (or equivalent) 
- A full driving licence, as well as business insurance (or the willingness to gain this) 

Experience of managing and/or supervising a team would be beneficial to your application.
