Senior Care Assistant / Carer Team Shift Leader
Rugby, Warwickshire, CV22 and CV23
£8.75 - £8.90 per hour
35hrs per week FT
Shifts are 7.30am–2.30pm & 2.30pm–9.30pm
Saturday–Friday on rotation
Flexibility to the home’s needs is essential, this may occasionally involve some long shifts and covering some extra shifts.
You will be joining our friendly home to guide a team of carers to deliver high quality person-centred care to people living with dementia and related mental health needs.
You will take responsibility for the effective running of your shifts and ensure that all residents are encouraged and empowered to be individuals; to be active, involved, and engaged in meaningful activity; and to retain interests and hobbies as far as possible.
In addition, you will: acknowledge and take responsibility for meeting legal requirements, rules, and regulations of all relevant acts and legislation. Deal appropriately with safeguarding issues, accidents, and incidents, reporting them in a timely manner in line with requirements to the appropriate people and external authorities. Coordinate staff in the delivery of care to residents according to individual Care Plans. Communicate and liaise with external providers, agencies, and visitors. Ensure that all daily care records are updated and are accurate and legible. Familiarise yourself with and practice Pinnacle Care’s philosophy, policies, and procedures.

Essential requirements:
NVQ or Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2, with a willingness to work towards Level 3 (or an equivalent qualification)
Desirable requirements:
Specialist Dementia Practitioner or equivalent
