Vehicle/Fleet Procurement Manager

You will be responsible for:

Purchasing the best value vehicles without compromising quality of service

Delivering budget savings through strong negotiations informed by vehicle and market rate expertise

Reviewing our existing suppliers and renegotiating existing terms

Staying up to date with latest vehicle technology available to enhance safety and efficiency

From point of order to delivery of vehicles and or plant to customers requirements/specification 

We’re looking for:

Specialist HGV fleet procurement experience, ideally with vehicle engineering/mechanical background

Procurement strategy development and implementation

Skilled negotiator

Market intelligence supported by strong analytical skills

Full clean driving licence

Strong communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels

The Company

Go Plant Fleet Services provides access to specialist commercial vehicles including refuse collection trucks, gritters, cage tippers and road sweepers on both short and long-term hire, as well as offering a comprehensive suite of fleet management services, including repair and maintenance. 

The company, which has 40 years’ experience in the industry, now has revenue of around £85 million and employs around 790 staff across 44 depots nationwide
