My client is a leading manufacturer of complex Electro-Mechanical Instruments used in the Medical Sector.
Due to continue growth, they currently seek an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler/Test Engineer to join their driven and enthusiastic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, test, calibration and repair of products to a high standard, and on occasion build special request items for research and clinical trials.
The successful Electro-Mechanical Assembler/Test Engineer will;
Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications
Production of tested, excellent quality assemblies for use as finished goods
To be proficient in the testing, manufacture and repair of all of the company products
Assist with the writing of test procedures and test result sheets as needed
Assist with the day to day smooth running of the manufacturing production department
Report on issues, malfunctions or defective parts
Assist in the design and development of products and prototypes as required
Assist the sales admin team in building and releasing product in an agreed order
Assist in the design and development of products as required
To be successful in this you will have the following skills and experience
3 + years Electro-Mechanical Assembly/Test experience within a manufacturing environment
A real passion and interest in the products being manufactured
An ability to perform all tasks necessary to produce a high quality product
Previous experience of high level soldering, ideally to IPC Standards
Previous Test, Calibration and Repair experience down to component level
Able to work to and read engineering drawings and circuits
The ability to read resistor values from their colour codes and identify different types of components
