Evening Supervisors
Plymouth
Our client are looking for a Evening Supervisors to provide support with the deployment on a daily basis of a team of Cleaning Assistants, Ward Housekeepers, Ward Housekeepers, Ward Hostesses and Porters within a certain area. You will be required to work flexibly between the wards, departments and public areas assisting with tasks where necessary. You must have good supervisory experience/managing lots of people per shift (i.e. the client employs 600 people) also you will need to be computer literate, good communication with email and be customer focused at all times and your CV must reflect your experience in these areas. You would be expected to have a positive attitude and a willingness to perform any tasks necessary.
You will be responsible for:
Ensuring an effective and efficient cleaning. Portering, Catering and Housekeeping Service
Ensuring allocation of staff is cost-effective, all documentation completed daily.
Ensuring Housekeeping staff are ordering the correct amount of meals, stores orders, equipment
Ensure porters complete allocated tasks
Monitor and record sickness and absence
Ensuring Health and Safety standards are maintained
Ensuring all staff comply with relevant Policies and Procedures of Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust
Ideally have the following:
Certificate in ILM or equivalent
Level III in Food Hygiene
COSHH/HACCP/IOSH
Fire Safety Awareness
Good Interpersonal/negotiating/problem solving skills/supervisory skills
NVQ 3 Customer Service

Salary: GBP17,787 pa
The role offers enhancement for working after 2pm and weekend allowance. Good staff pension and 27 days holidays plus bank holiday.
