Production Stock Controller

Are you a Production Stock Controller with a keen eye for detail, looking for a new exciting challenge?
Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Production Stock Controller to work with one of their dedicated and experienced Manufacturing clients based in March to work as part of their team.
As the Production Stock Controller, you will maintain accuracy of stock inventory, maintain supply of production consumables, whilst providing support to the Production Team and will report to the Production Manager.
Principle Responsibilities for the Production Stock Controller:
* Daily checking of stock returns to Warehouse.
* Investigation and resolution of stock discrepancies.
* Make stock adjustments as necessary to maintain accurate stock inventory
* Take part in Stocktaking as necessary
* Maintain and manage all relevant paperwork and documentation related to the above.
* Check and approve invoices for purchased materials.
* Ensure adequate supply of Production consumables are available on a daily basis.
* Purchase Production consumables from suppliers based on agreed specifications.
* Generate labels for Production lines as required.
* Control issuing of overalls to personnel.
Person specification:
* Experience working within stock control is a must
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent computer skills: Knowledge on Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Navision
* Demonstrate good attention to detail and a flexible pro-active approach to work
* Be able to prioritise, plan and organise workloads whilst in a busy environment
* Team player
* Must have excellent decision-making skills and the ability to deal with difficult situations head on
This is a full time permanent Production Stock Controller position, working 40 hours per week: 07:30-16:00 Monday to Friday, offering an annual salary of GBP19,195 p/a.
