The Junior IT Support Help Desk Consultant Role:

You will provide technical, operational and training support to staff based on-site, at remote offices and at any remote other location. You will also image and configure laptops, configure smart phones, perform data migrations and complete any other IT tasks required to support our users.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with users at all levels on the phone, via e-mail and face to face. Previous Desktop Support experience in Windows 7 and Office 2013 is essential. We are looking for an individual who is motivated to learn new technologies and broaden their IT skillset to allow the move in to infrastructure support. Travel to remote offices will be occasionally required.

Junior IT Support Help Desk Consultant Core Experience Required:

+ Windows 7 and 10
+ Office 2013/2016
+ Laptop support
+ User and Computer account administration via Active Directory
+ Basic network troubleshooting including TCP-IP, ethernet, wireless and VPN
+ Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome web browsers
+ SLA / ITIL driven support environment

Any of the following experience will set you apart from the crowd:

+ Windows Server
+ Kaspersky Endpoint Security or any device management suite.
+ Zabbix or any infrastructure monitoring software.
+ Basic Linux administration
+ Basic database administration
+ An understanding of Hyper-V or any virtualisation software
+ Any network configuration experience e.g. Firewall, Switches, VLANs, Wireless AP’s
+ Any scripting e.g. batch, VBS, Powershell or Python, etc
