Due to a new warehouse launch, an existing opportunity has to come to market with a leading Healthcare company, based in the North West of England. My client is seeking an experienced, Warehouse Operative who is immediately to start.
Key Responsibilities;
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, co-ordinating and conducting all warehouse training requirements. The post holder will conduct/co-ordinate training for all teammates on all operational processes and monitor their progress accordingly. Ensuring all training provided equips our teammates to fully comply with all warehouse procedures, in a safe and effective manner.
- Carry out Company Induction training and on the job training to all new starters
- Work in partnership with Operations to arrange training dates and times for all standard operating procedures and/or working instruction updates
- Organise and deliver effective training events both in the classroom and on the job
- Train and assess teammates as required to ensure they are fully equipped to carry out their job roles
- Work with Quality to ensure that SOP's are released/updated and that the training material is suitable and compliant within the required timescales
- Update the operative's training records on an ongoing basis
- Produce & update training materials & packages
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure that all documented procedures reflect current processes
- Implement change where applicable ensuring full compliance at all times
- Ensure that working practices conform to Health and Safety standards
- Actively review and improve assessments to ensure the learning is applied within Operations
You will require the following;
- Train the trainer qualification
- NVQ in Learning & Development or equivalent
- A true ambassador for the training function at all times
- Ability to prioritise to meet the needs of the business
- Active interest in the development of others
- Team player
- Able to deal with competing demands in a busy environment
- Broad knowledge of internal warehouse processes
- Flexible approach to tasks and hours of work
- Self motivated and well organised
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written & oral communication skills
