We are currently looking for a Domestic Gas Engineer to work as a member of the GreenSquare Housing Direct Works Gas Heating Team to deliver high quality gas servicing, responsive gas repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with the current Gas Safety Regulations. Responsibilities will include repair and servicing on all gas installations within domestic properties including fires, heating, hot water systems, and cookers as well plumbing.

To be part of the team you will have an excellent understanding of the needs of our customer and the commitment to provide the very best service. You will have the skills and technical ability to repair and service modern gas boilers in a logical and methodical way and be able to work on your own with a minimum level of supervision, whilst working alongside the rest of the team to ensure it meets its targets.

As well as significant experience in gas servicing and repairs on modern gas condensing boilers, you should ideally hold as a minimum an S/NVQ in Domestic Gas Installation and Maintenance Level 3 or 6013, 6034, 6016, 6006 or City and Guilds 662 or 5980 Pts 1 & 2. You will need to hold current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CEN1, WAT1 (CENWAT), CPA1, CKR1, HTR1, UVHW. With good time management skills and communication skills you will maintain good relations with tenants and work without immediate supervision. You will be able to diagnose faults in a prompt manner as well as gathering information for records. You must be comfortable with working at heights and be available to work some evenings and weekends.

It is also important to us that you are a confident team player with a can do attitude.

You will be travelling across our sites so you’ll need to be adaptable with a full driving licence, and a flexible approach to working hours.
