About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to be responsible for H&S across all sites, with a base at any one of our three main locations.  This role assists the Head of Strategic Asset Management in ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety legislation and codes of practice as a provider of social housing and an employer; you will also conduct audits to monitor compliance and recommend improvements where required; and you will develop regular activities/awareness for staff and residents around health and safety and staff wellbeing. 

About You 

You have a H&S qualification, with post qualification experience that has given you a sound understanding of residential property and facilities management, You know the challenges faced by a social landlord such as Hastoe and have excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice.

You are passionate about what you do.  Able to communicate sometimes complex information clearly, you inspire people to embrace H&S through your support for its practical application, whilst monitoring and reviewing risk control activities.  Raising the profile of H&S is one of your key drivers, helping Hastoe provide safe, healthy and desirable places to live and work.

You are committed to investing in your own professional development.  

The location of this role is flexible.  Travel to other sites is essential.
