About Us

Based in 25 acres of beautiful grounds, Exeter School is an independent educational organisation for pupils aged 7 – 18. Now, we are looking for a Reprographics and Design Assistant to join us on a part time basis working 8.30am – 1.30pm, Monday – Friday during term time only.

Your Role 

As the Reprographics and Design Assistant, you will be tasked with supporting design and document creation efforts operations across the school. 

Reprographics is an essential element of the document preparation process and involves completing the finishing aspects, such as specialist printing, copying laminating and binding. 

Reporting to the Reprographics Supervisor, you will complete photocopying, printing and collating materials for papers, booklets and similar items, stationary management, basic maintenance of equipment and the management of the school’s digital and video camera stock. 

You will also: 

- Laminate and guillotine items as requested 
- Work to standard turnaround times of one working day (or sooner) 
- Deliver completed work to agreed locations throughout the school 
- Format and prepare documents for print 
- Deal with staff, pupils and occasionally parents via telephone 
- Manage relevant supplier relationships 
- Ensure digital resources are well maintained and ready for use 
- Keep records of digital resource usage 

About You 

Although no specific experience or qualifications are required, the ideal Reprographics and Design Assistant would have a good level of IT literacy. 

The following skills will be required: 

- Communication and people skills, with a good personal manner 
- Organisation and punctuality 
- The ability to work under pressure to short deadlines 
- High standards with excellent attention to detail 
- The ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive documents and/or information
