Finance Business Analyst

My client is a financial services organisation based in Edinburgh. There is a requirement for an experienced Finance Business Analyst to join the organisation on a contract basis. Some international travel will be required for this role.

Finance Business Analyst responsibilities:

• Analyse, evaluate, prioritise and document high quality requirements that align to agreed objectives and can be clearly communicated to stakeholders
• Obtain formal approval of scope and requirements by business stakeholders and maintain baselines on which the delivery of a solution can be based
• Lead workshops and any other requirements elicitation activities needed during the analysis and design stage of the project
• Validate the design, build and test traceability evidence provided by relevant roles to confirm requirements coverage

Finance Business Analyst skills:

• An experienced 'strong' BA -must be dynamic and demonstrate proactive behaviours
• Experience of financial and tax systems necessary
• Must be able to travel internationally
• Confidence in challenging peers and senior managers constructively
